What is the Steinway Promise?

You can have complete confidence in your investment. It is backed by Steinway & Sons, and it's value is assured - both today and for many years to come. We know you will enjoy years of musical rewards with this fine instrument. This certificate represents our commitment to keeping the Steinway Promise to you.

That promise is: If at any time within ten years of the date of this certificate, you decide to trade your Steinway - designed piano for a new Steinway & Sons grand piano, you will receive an allowance equal to the full purchase price of your piano.

The original purchaser when traded for a new Steinway - designed grand piano at this location any time within ten years of the date of this certificate.

The Steinway Warranty

The Steinway-designed Boston and Essex pianos are supplied with a factory warranty issued by Steinway & Sons, the terms of which are attached.

Every single Steinway instrument is unique. Skilled craftsmen working with meticulous care select the finest woods to create an instrument composed of some 12,000 individual parts, resulting in the incomparable sound. Steinway offers a five - year warranty to the original buyer of every Steinway instrument purchased from an authorised Steinway & Sons distributor, starting with the date of invoice and valid in the country where the instrument was purchased.

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship only. Any such defect will be repaired free of charge during the warranty period. This warranty does not cover any expense which exceeds the actual cost of repair. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or accidental exterior and interior damage, nor does it cover the surface finish and key coverings (durability and discoloration). Claims under this warranty are dependent on your valuable Steinway instrument residing in optimal environment conditions - which will also prolong its life.

For further information please refer to pages 26 and 27 of your Steinway service documentation. Regular servicing and tuning by an authorized Steinway Technician are essential if your instrument is to retain its value. Please ensure that all work carried out on your  Steinway is recorded in your Service Check Book (pages 28-35). This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

Shipping & Delivery

What are your delivery methods?

Our pianos are delivered with the trust and care by our preferred piano delivery vendor. Upon full payment of the piano, we will arrange and offer a suitable delivery time slot with you. On the day of delivery, please ensure the delivered location is clear and free of any obstructions.

Return & Exchanges

Can I return or exchange the piano if I'm not satisfied with it?

If/once the delivery order is signed, the goods are considered as received in good order.
